Updates, Updates, Updates!

Purdue has opened up a 12 point lead at their halftime over Northern Iowa, no surprise there really...unless you took UNI as your 12 seed upset in the first round.

Radford is down 12 midway through the first half to UNC, again no surprise there either. Without Lawson, the Heels shouldn't have a problem in this game. Tyler Hansborough's flop fest will continue to get whistles against teams like this.

Chattanooga is only down 3 to UConn nearing the halfway point of the first half. This is a tough situation for the Huskies as they are without their coach Jim Calhoun for health reasons. While they are far more talented than their opponent it will likely take them a little bit to get into the flow of the game without their coach.

As expected the California versus Maryland game has been the closest and most interesting contest so far in this second set of games. Both teams lack tremendous size. Maryland appears to be a bit more atheletic than Cal, but them Bears sure can shoot that rock. Cal trails by 3 with 7:31 left in the first half.
